Siffleur Falls, June 2016

After a board workshop in Didsbury, we drove past Nordegg to the Dry Haven campground.  Cooked smokies over the fire and slept in the tent.

It was really raining when we got to the siffleur falls staging area the next morning.  We decided to walk a couple k to the suspension bridge across the N Saskatchewan river.  Then there was a pretty boardwalk through the Kootenay Plains.  Then the rain let off and we just kept going to the falls.  No camera but the falls are awesome.
So is Michele!

Denver, April 2016

We went to Denver for PLA 2016, or I should say Michele went for PLA 2016.  Ken went as a conference spouse.  And quite liked the role.

First day we checked into the Warwick Hotel and walked downtown for Michele to register.  Saw a couple of people and had dinner at Grimaldi's, which features a coal fired pizza oven.  Sounds gross but it was really good.

I rode the Warwick Hotel bicycle all around Denver while Michele attended the conference.  We rented a car and drove to the mountains and Boulder.  Had a nice lunch and saw Mork and Mindy's house.

Denver is a really nice town.  Lots of solid tidy little homes.
